left listed US8.5W fits like US9/UK8-8.5 (gum waffle outsole portion measures 27.6cm)

right listed US8W fits like US9/UK8-8.5 (gum waffle outsole portion measures 27.3cm)

these were custom made, perhaps in bulk & were swithced at birth, or perhaps ordered this way in 2 odd sizes. both shoes are wide fitting however this simply equates to a modern width. the left shoe is listed US8.5W but is not overly wide. the right shoe is listed US8W & does feel slightly wider. from experience custom wide widths fit big & both shoes are legitimate US9. there is essentially millimeters in it. otherwsie flawless!
