the uppers show a powder-like whiteness in areas however i believe this to be a design component which gives the canvas a white-wash finish. the left shoe did however see display use with resulting yellowing to the rubber. from my experience, rubber defects from this era rarely influence longevity, however this is no guarantee. wear at own risk
