NB these is a transitional style & perhaps one of the last usa productions late 90s. they are lighter than true originals which indicates the density of the rubber is compromised. perhaps the waffle is not full crepe rubber & the internal footbed is less advanced. saying this, the sidewall still crucially incorporates the osnaburg canvas embedded in the friction, which contributes to the strength of the shoe. the shape is slightly different & use removable insole.... however these are still far superior to modern reinterpretations.

all rubber remains soft & flexible & will hold up to normal wear, despite 2 tiny areas of integrity change on the sidewall below the seams of right shoes. the first foxing crucially remains supple.
